PLYMOUTH ARGYLE F.C.. WITH MEMORIES FROM MY CHILDHOOD

I was a fan of Plymouth Argyle as a teenager, and visited Home Park with my father between 1960 and 1966, I saw them beating Aston Villa 3 to 0 in the last game of Villa's promotion season (1959-60), and losing to Villa, including Gerry Hitchens, 3 to 5 a year later in the League Cup, Then, during 1962, I was in a crowd of over 40000 which saw them losing 1 to 5 against Spurs while Johnny Williams left Jimmy Greaves unmarked in the FA Cup, after beating West Ham 3 to 0 in the previous round. I was to see many great players at Home Park, including Stanley Matthews, Brian Clough, Bobby Moore, and Danny Blanchflower,
